Looking to turn around our 5-0 lose in the Aubrey Cup we turned up at Sarratt with just 11 regulars and with Rob Barron "3rd team" kindle coming along as our only sub. We started well with most of the play and chances at the Sarratt end,with this we went in at half time 2-0 up. Goals from under the weather Normski (c.mid) with a cross come shot from the edge of the area finishing in the top right hand corner, keeper no chance, hope Dad got that great goal on camera. Cookie ( Striker !!!) possibly his last game, getting the second finishing off a great move with a very rare header, pin point cross from Ben Mitchell (r.mid). In the second half we were looking to keep things tight but as expected Sarratt uped their game and scored 5 mins in as our back four nodded off. Still creating chances we were unable to put the game to bed and it was Sarratt who scored to equalize 20 mins from time with an unstoppable shot. With both sides having chances to win the game 2-2 was a fair result. Happy we didn't completely fold under the pressure and we were still creating chances till the end. Top players today were Orch (c.mid) and Minty Snr. (c.back).
